Best Pizza in Midland – Updated October 15th, 2018.

Midland, Texas is a pizza town, currently we have about 29 pizza places in Midland, for a population of about 136,089, that is one pizza place per about 4700 people. The sad part is that 82% of the pizza places in town are national chains, only about 18% are locally owned. Now that is not to say that some of the chains might be owned by individual franchisees. So we will start by listing our local pizza places and follow that with information on the national chains.

Luigi’s Italian Restaurant

Now if you work or live close to downtown, then Luigi’s might a good choice for you. They make a delicious pie, and have several Italian food options to consider. Ray’s Italian Bistro
Ray’s is located in the old Your Way Yogurt suite at the corner of Wadley and Midkiff, next to Oasis Nails and a Subway Sandwich Shop. They have been opened a few years now and retain a 4 star and above rating on Google and Yelp. Skip the Pizza Hut and give them a shot today!

Torino’s Pizza Bar
Torinos can be found across from the HEB on Wadley, in the San Miguel Shopping Center that also houses, Cafe Unique, Kuo’s, Rednecks Drafthouse, and Ohana Poke. They have a wide selection of Specialty Pizzas, but can supplement them with all sorts of different tasty sandwiches, salads, baked pastas, and appetizers. Sadly we only have four locally owned pizza joints in Midland, and this one of the best. You can find them next to the Market Street on Midland, next to WB Liquors & Wine, Expert Cuts, and Check’n Go. They have a nice variety of different pizza toppings. Cane D’oro Pizza
Now for something different, Cane D’oro is a mobile pizza oven. (Cane D’oro means Golden Dog in Italian) They setup at different places in town, or they can cater to any size party, event, or festival. Have Pizza will travel! Luciano Express Pizzeria

Luciano’s is located in the Midland Park Mall, in the old Lucas Pizza location. Man I ate a lot of pizza from that place *tear*. Everything I walk by they have a beautiful assortment of Italian food on display. Cannoli, Stromboli, Calzones, Paninis, and Subs. They serve up New York Style Pizza, with unique toppings like prosciutto, sun dried tomato, or kalamata olives.

Starting with the chain restaurants Domino’s has five locations in Midland in which to serve you. They offer Delivery and Carryout. They can feed any size group for a low low price, and their extensive menu has everything from pizza, to chicken wings, and everything in between.
